Episode two: Derrick Rose/Adidas
Now that I introduced you to a brand you know, but now can look at as a great business model. Watch Adidas make a 3 pointer once again as they intrograte digital marketing play as a platform to, "If life gives you lemons, make lemonade." When a NBA/ MVP star sneaker pitchman tears his anterior cruciate ligament in the 1st game of last season, things don't look good for brand marketing strategies, but not this time! Instead of him dissapearing behind the scene, Adidas and Derrick Rose fought back with an another angle, one that capures your heart and mind. Adidas turns to You Tube and social media with short, well-produced web videos that got over 200,000 views the first two days with episode one. That's when the doors broke open again for Adidas as they come into focus by using a way to catch the attention of basketball fans on-line. Last week episode 1, now 2 called "hope" watch ~The excitement builds as the story unfolds, and this week Episode 3 of "The Return" hits the web and like the two before it has truthfulnterviews, grinding rehab footage and dramatic music to go with the mood, upbeat! The tail will be told as winds of time turn to internet marketing at it's best reaching the right target that channels in a maximum potiential for today's times.~ Also, the rush of support from fans with post that state how important it is to give "hope" to others who feel like life has taken a bad turn, when hope returns. ReplyDeleteIt was unfortunate for the Bulls and the US Olympic basketball team not to have him this year.
I believe he will make a rapid recovery and will lead the Bulls to another successful season.
